75M - 1965 / 66

Now residing in Brisbane, Australia, this Scot was refinished by Rattrays in 1976. Of particular note is the L'-Ecosse model designation shown on the transfer on the top tube.

Owner Rob Macintyre writes; "I swapped a Raleigh Flyer for 75M which was in a very poor state. The frame was dented and badly scratched. I stripped it and had it refinished at Alexandra Parade in 1976. I dont think the forks are original - not sure. The original Fiamme "glue on" rims were changed in 1995 here in Brisbane, however the Campagnolo QR system was retained. The Wienmann QR brakes are original and I added the tyre savers. The crank set is a mixture of Stronglight and Campagnolo. Shift levers are Campagnolo as is the rear changer. The original Campagnolo front changer failed and was replaced with a Shimano system. The headstock was made by GB and the pedals are of the quill type. I had my initials painted on in 1976, just below the Scot badge".
